While it seemed promising that using androgen-suppressing drugs approved for prostate cancer might also help protect men against severe COVID-19, a trial testing the theory had to be stopped for futility. Cost of Treating Warts Lowered With Topical Therapies

Pharmacists do not fill enough prescriptions to treat cutaneous and anogenital warts, according to a new study, which suggests that prescription products might be the most cost-effective treatments. The authors reported that the complaints lead to millions of office visits and average costs per year of about $846 million for cutaneous warts and $127 million for anogenital warts, largely because of lesional destruction procedures.
