According to a study in Open Forum Infectious Diseases, compared with older adults hospitalized with influenza B, individuals hospitalized with respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection have a greater risk of mortality within 90 days. The results revealed that the presence of at least one comorbidity was more significant among patients with RSV than among those with influenza. Read more.
