Telemedicine Prescribing of Controlled Substances Continued Another Year

Special dispensation was given during the COVID-19 pandemic for some controlled substances to be prescribed with only telemedicine visits. That has been extended through 2025 by the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Department of Health and Human Services as the agencies seek to make some of the leniencies permanent.
